New blog found
I happened to find a new blog related to board games. Boardgameplayer.com by Ken Rumsey is a fairly new blog, started in December 2003. There’s a RSS feed, too.

Online Settlers of Catan
S3D Connector was recommended to me as a good online version of Settlers of Catan. If you’re interested in that kind of action, go check it out.

The Games Journal and a new blog
The February Games Journal is out. There isn’t much to read, but check out the letters section for an interesting letter about Terra. There’s also a new blog about games. Michael Chapel is the Austin BoardGamer. He also has a RSS feed.

Geeklist and dice games
I did an A-Z list of games. It’s available in the Geek as a GeekList. Feel free to comment it here or there. Finnish readers should note that Knizia’s brilliant book Dice Games Properly Explained is available from Suomalainen kirjakauppa and Bookplus. The price is very reasonable 10 euros.

The Games Journal
There’s another great issue of The Games Journal out. This time the best feature is the article about agonizing decisions. It’s certainly a good read.

New blog
There’s a new board game blog in the blogosphere. Inconsequential ruminations is written by Iain Cheyne, who should be a familiar name for you if you’ve read the comments here. There’s nothing much there yet, though.

Go humour
I haven’t been checking out Almost Sente in a while. Of the new strips, number 50 was hilariously funny! I think I have a dry sense of humour sometimes.

The Games Journal
December issue of The Games Journal is out. The best part of it was probably the Joe Huber interview. Rules to Joust and Budget Crokinole might also be of interest to some of you.

Costikyan on Chess
Something quick before I start on the HelCon session reports: Greg Costikyan has written an excellent article on Chess and game design. All I can say is read it — it’s worth the while.

The Games Journal
New issue of The Games Journal. This issue features untypical Essen raport from Mark Johnson, continuation from previous articles (Jonathan Degann’s second installment in his series of game theory is particularly sweet), letters and reviews of Mystery of the Abbey and Isis & Osiris.
